Yes, I have just changed my author picture for the first time in SEVEN YEARS. And yes, taking the picture was super awkward.

OMG! What a powerful ending! That is so satisfying! The fact that you don't have to say a single other word is perfection! AHH! Amazing! I'm totally gushing!

And I'm also pretty sad I don't have any more of this to read xD

Keep up the amazing work, as always <3

I love the descriptions in this chapter. I'm totally there with her. You hit all the senses, and it's really striking :)

It's got that kind of dreamy, sleepy quality about it, yeah. But I think it works xD

I know how hard it is to write a chapter like this, but I also know how rewarding it is too. I know that every word is a struggle to be the perfect one in a chapter like this when everything comes together and it has to be 'just right'. But you did it beautifully. I am in awe. I always struggle to make chapters like this long enough, and this was the perfect length in my opinion. And it was all so very satisfying. I mean, it was sad too, but everything felt right.

I am just so in love with this story, sad and desperate and gory though it may be xD

I hope it doesn't make me a bad person, but I absolutely LOVE Mary-Ann! I could read about her entire life. She's so engaging and interesting, and though she makes some questionable decisions sometimes, you totally GET it. She's so relatable. And I think I love her so much because she's so strong. It makes me hope that if I was in a horrible situation like her, I could be so strong. She is incredible :)

This comment made my morning. Thank you so much. <3

I love her too. When I first wrote this chapter, I felt so terrible for being proud of it, but then I was like 'Screw it.' I think you have to look past the generic thoughts of 'She did a bad thing' and think about what you'd do if you'd been pushed around like she had. The thing with her is that she's not too cautious to do right by herself. :)

She has been pushed to the absolute limits and never been truly loved or cared for, and I totally GET IT. Because of course she ends up like she does. Of course she makes those decisions. And as she decides to murder everyone, I'm like, yep. That's the right choice. And it's crazy that you've written her so well that the reader is agreeing with her whilst KNOWING it's wrong. All your blood, sweat, and tears over this character have been well worth it. She is awesome.
